03 Days: Training of Basic Principals of Bee Keeping of at least 50 active Bee keepers of community institutions for identification of bee, type of beehives, introduction of various bee-hive products,  Installation, division and multiplication of bee colonies, bee breeding and queen rearing. .Cluster Level                          2
A2Technical training on Use of ‘Bee-Keeping’
equipment and Pest and disease management
in beehives
03 Days: Selection of equipment and tools, assembling of beehives and Identification of pests affecting bees, diagnosis of diseases
in bees, preventive and curative methods of pest and
disease management in honeybees.

pollination process and developing a flowering calendar for all the seasons

02 Days : Visit to an apiary and processing plant, honey extraction,
honey processing practices, storage and packaging
practices, quality testing measures with 20 farmers and Preparedness for setting up a ‘Bee-Keeping’ enterprise, checklist for required accessories and equipment, scope of business.
